AMA SUSTSIG Leadership

Elina Hur

Elina Y. Hur is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Fox School of Business, Temple University. Her research primarily centers on understanding consumer decision-making driven by goals and motivation, with a particular emphasis on sustainability. Dr. Hur explores how contextual cues, including temporal cues, preference elicitation mode, and goal framing, influence green consumption as a function of consumers’ goals and motivation.


Before joining Temple, she received her Ph.D. in marketing from Cornell University, Johnson Graduate School of Business, and her MA in psychology from New York University. She received her BA in psychology and business from Korea University.
